Android Lollipop is more stable than iOS 8

The mobile operating system from Apple, iOS, has always been praised for its high stability against the biggest competitor, Android. There are many reasons that can justify this fact, such as the supposedly superior production of Apple or the huge diversity of devices matched by Android, which you can cause increased susceptibility to failures in stability.

Whatever the reason, this is no longer true with the release of Android 5.0 Lollipop, which appears more stable than iOS 8. ios8_lollipop
At one point and at length, Android was seen as a bit mature operating system, with some inconsistencies in its foundations. Every new version that emerged, many of these problems were being reduced or even eliminated, until the work of the Google arrives at the "highest".

Who confirms this is the Crittercism , a company that analyzes the performance of mobile applications. There are many reasons that have failed applications, from problems in the operating system, specific problems of the device or even lack of memory. Currently, the failure rate Android lollipop is 2.0%, while in the IOS 8 reaches 2.2%. The most curious thing is not to look at the numbers alone but to its evolution.

In the case of Android, the failure rate in versions 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and KitKat 4.4 is the same, 2.6%. This shows a clear improvement in overall stability of the system for the lollipop version (2.0%). In the regard to IOS, the failure rate in IOS 7 is 1.9%, with an evident decrease in the stability of the latest version (2.2%).

Analyzing the frequency of updates were released on iOS and 8 listed corrections in each update, this version clearly shows up as the most problematic version of iOS ever. Apple is currently working on a to iOS 8.2, which will be released with WatchKit SDK therefore prepared to Watch Apple to launch in March. Source: ZDNet
